History, Health, Happiness

In April 2018 Heritage Doncaster became an Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation (NPO).  The funding received from the Arts Council has enabled us to launch History, Health, Happiness – a programme of work tackling individual and community isolation in four key areas of Doncaster.

The project uses museum collections and heritage activities to engage with communities throughout the Borough, including those in:

  • Conisbrough/Denaby Main/Mexborough
  • Woodlands/Carcroft/Adwick-Le-Street
  • Stainforth/Dunscroft/Hatfield/Thorne
  • Hexthorpe/Balby
