Mission & Aims
Our mission is:
to use heritage to improve the lives of the people of Doncaster by helping to increase their skills and aspirations, their sense of belonging, their enjoyment of life and the overall prosperity of the borough.
We are passionate about Doncaster and the surrounding region, and the role heritage plays in the lives of Doncastrians. We want to celebrate all things Donny and our goal is to ensure heritage increases the aspirations, pride and well-being for all parts of Doncaster’s communities.
We have five strategic objectives to help us achieve this goal:
- Inspire people through digital tech and learning experiences
- Connect with our communities
- Empower people to make their own journeys of discovery and exploration
- Preserve our collection for present and future generations
- Build a sustainable and enterprising business
