Digitising the Conisbrough Court Rolls

230 of the parchments were digitised by Townsweb Archiving. These digital records range from 1265 to the 1600s. We are currently working on uploading them to this website so that they can be viewed in clear detail, making them more accessible to current and future generations.

In-house digitisation has also taken place with a team of volunteers who have made an invaluable contribution to the project. They have spent time photographing rolls from the 1700s onwards so that we have digital copies of the court records. Find out more about their experiences in the video below.
