This is a unique opportunity to see artefacts from the extensive Doncaster Grammar School Railway Collection in a behind the scenes tour of the Rail Heritage Store. Until 2020 the Doncaster Grammar School Railway Collection was hidden away in the clock tower of the old school (now Hall Cross Academy). Many items are now on public display at the Danum Gallery Library and Museum, but the majority of the collection is in store and not normally open to the public. There will also be the opportunity to look at historic railway related materials belonging both to the Doncaster Grammar School Railway Collection and the city of Doncaster Archives.
