Cusworth Hall Walled Garden Open Day
Join us on the first Sunday of each month, April – October 2024, 11am – 3pm to explore our beautiful walled garden.
Entry: £1 per adult, children free.
No need to book, just drop-in.
Dating back to the early days of the old Cusworth manor house, the Cusworth Hall Walled Garden has recently been improved and restored. At these open days you can explore the beautiful fruit laden trees of the Orchard and enjoy the abundance of roses and perennials in the Flower Garden.
Visit the restored Bowling Green and step inside the Bowling Pavilion to see the recently re-painted trompe l’oeil garden scenes. See what remains of the old greenhouses and observe the position of the Old Cusworth Hall.
Directions
Parking is available in the main Cusworth Hall Car Park. Walk from the hall down the sloping drive towards Cusworth Village. Carry straight on, past the British Orthodox Church, past Mulberry Close and turn right down Orchard Lane. Go through the first gate and the entrance to the Orchard is on your right. Alternatively, walk down shrubbery walk, turn left at the bottom and follow the path through the trees. Then turn left at the black bar gate and walk up Orchard Lane. The entrance is on your left.
These Cusworth Hall Walled Garden open days are run in partnership with The Friends of Cusworth Park & The Cusworth Hall Gardens Trust.
