Opening Hours & Facilities

Cusworth Hall Museum will remain closed for now. The safety of our staff and visitors is our top priority, so we are taking some extra time to plan for a safe return and develop our offering. While the hall is closed, our teams will be working behind the scenes to make sure future visits to the museum are safe and enjoyable when we do open again.

The park remains open for visitors – please help us to look after it by continuing to social distance according to the Government’s guidelines. Our park team and volunteers are working hard to keep the grounds safe and tidy, so please take your litter home with you if the bins are full. We are very grateful to the members of the local community who have volunteered to pick litter in the Park – it has been a massive help to the park team.

The children’s playground is open but this area is not monitored by park staff. Please follow the guidance on the signs around the playground. There may be a queue if the park is busy, and hand sanitiser should be used regularly.

Toilet facilities are available 10am-4pm. Only the toilets in the Bothy – the outbuilding just beyond the tearooms – are open for public use. You are advised to avoid using toilets outside your own home if at all possible. Although the toilets are cleaned thoroughly, it is still essential that you follow the Covid-19 safety guidance. There is a ‘one in, one out’ policy with a queuing area outside. One toilet is accessible and reserved for disabled people and baby changing.

Please report any incidents or anti-social behaviour directly to South Yorkshire Police on 101 (unless it is an emergency, in which case call 999).

Butlers Tea Room & Bistro (currently closed)
Situated in Cusworth Hall’s former stable and coach house, Butlers Tea Room and Bistro serves breakfast, lunch and a variety of hot and cold drinks – visit their website for full details including opening hours.Image of sign post in Cusworth park

The Old Brewhouse (takeaway only)
Restoring a family tradition dating back to the 18th century and built into the original Brewhouse which served the Wrightson family for centuries, our tap offers a range of beers brewed within the hall grounds as well as serving a host of craft beers.

Whilst the techniques are modern the setting retains the uniqueness of a tradition long respected and is the perfect place to start or finish your visit to the Hall.  Visit their website for full details including opening hours.

Parking
The car park is open every day of the week and currently free.
