Back to Nature

Back to Nature is a series of workshops co-delivered by Heritage Doncaster and Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, combining history, museum objects, and nature to enhance wellbeing.

There are no upcoming dates planned at the moment.

These workshops are free of charge for adults who would like to connect with local people in a friendly space. You don’t need to know anything about history or nature to attend. Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. To book complete the form at the bottom of this page.

An example of a ‘Back to Nature’ workshop last year was our ‘Stoneage’ workshop, where we explored life in Yorkshire 10,000 years ago. We handled handling genuine stone age tools and flints and were then led by a YWT foraging expert to find herbs to make a refreshing tea over the campfire.

Each workshop aims to be unique and refreshing – we want you to leave revived yet relaxed having spent a couple of hours amongst nature and heritage.
