The team hold Enhanced DBS checks and First Aid Certification.

Please note, the Doncaster Cultural Curriculum replaces the previous services offered by Doncaster Museum Education and the Schools Library Services.

What is the Doncaster Cultural Curriculum?

The Doncaster Cultural Curriculum is designed to improve pupil attainment, enhance classroom learning experiences and develop cultural capital. It can also help student to express their own ideas, gain confidence and build observational skills. We also know that engaging with culture can improve feelings of-self worth and that creative expression can provide pupils with ways to express their own ideas. Culture also provides the opportunity for pupils to relax and boosts wellbeing.

Why should we book an experience with you?

We are a professional team that believes engaging with the arts, culture and heritage has academic, social and emotional impacts on pupils.

What is the Primary Membership Scheme?

The Primary Membership scheme is a way of saving money and becoming eligible for membership benefits. There are three tiers of membership, Gold, Silver and Bronze.

Your staff need to make sure that they are observant to prevent breakages and loss of items both on our sites and in school. Please report any loss or damage immediately. All loss and damage will be charged to the school. Please do not try to fix items for yourselves.

In the case of topic box loans, you the borrower are responsible for the care, security and safety of times from the point of delivery until they are collected.

Can we book a lunch space if we have a workshop?

Yes. Our lunch space is located in the Rail Heritage Centre. If the weather is nice you can use our gated courtyard. When booking please inform us if you require a lunch space reserving. Teachers are required to ensure that the lunch space is tidy following the booking. Cleaning materials are provided. If the area is not left clean you will be charged a £25 fee
